No one will ever get lost inside Amoreiras Shopping, since three interactive wayfinding directories were installed in strategic locations.

Amoreiras Shopping is located in one of the busiest and most developed areas of Lisbon. As a result, this shopping visitors don’t have time to waste searching for the stores and services they are looking for.

To avoid this unnecessary problem, that could jeopardize customer satisfaction and ultimately affect stores sales, three interactive directories were installed in strategic locations: one near the food court, one near an hypermarket and one in a busy corridor.

To avoid this unnecessary problem, that could jeopardize customer satisfaction and ultimately affect stores sales, three interactive directories were installed in strategic locations: one near the food court, one near an hypermarket and one in a busy corridor.

Directories

Through the wayfinding application, visitors can get (literally) in touch with an interactive map that allows the discovery of the quickest path to one of the 250 stores or several services available, news, promotions, useful contacts and a form for comments or questions.

When no one is touching the screen, other contents are displayed, like advertisement, promotions, events or news.

For people with disabilities, there is a handicap mode that, when activated, shows the path that uses lifts, instead of escalators.

As every month there is a different store, service, event or promotion that needs to be communicated, there is a backoffice allowing remote configuration of contents and analysis of usage statistics.

One of the directories, apart from the touchscreen, has also a non-interactive LCD on the opposite side, exclusively to display ads.
