The Santa Clara Monastery Interpretive Center was born from a desire to return a piece of history to the community — a memory that lives in the stones, the walls, and the echoes of time.
Located within The Lince Santa Clara Historic Hotel, this space invites visitors to explore the long and rich history of Monte Mosteiro, from the earliest traces of the Bronze Age to the present day. More than just telling a story, this center brings it to life. That’s where Edigma comes in. Through interactive installations, holography, and projections, we helped shape an experience designed to surprise, inform, and move. Here, technology isn’t the end — it’s the bridge that connects the past to the present, and people to their roots.
Housed in a building that was once a monastery and is now a protected heritage site, the center is a symbol of Vila do Conde’s identity — created for everyone who wants to better understand the history of their city, and feel that it’s part of them too.
