The Bosch Car Multimedia plant in Braga boosted its Productivity, installing several Interactive Screens at its Facilities.

Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal is, undoubtedly, one of the greatest references of Portuguese industrial panorama. For instance, it is the 6th exporter in the country.

As a manufacturer of electronic products (mainly navigation systems and car radios), processes optimization and cutting-edge technologies are part of its everyday life.
So, in order to improve its communication tools such as regular whiteboards and LCDs, Bosch decided to provide innovative tools that could streamline its employees’ work and improve monitoring by management team.

So, in order to improve its communication tools such as regular whiteboards and LCDs, Bosch decided to provide innovative tools that could streamline its employees’ work and improve monitoring by management team.

Interactivity

At the development room, two 42’’ interactive LCDs where installed, featuring a corporate TV-like application.

But, instead of being unidirectional and non-interactive, as most corporate TV software, this application allowed each employee to browse contents like news, presentations, plans, charts, performance indicators or even give some feedback.
As a result, people got information onsite that they have never had access to before, which led to a much more professional and solid workflow.

To better communicate the company’s targets and strategy, and spread the information throughout all employees and areas, EDIGMA placed a multimedia solution at the canteen. This time, it assumed the shape of a glass stand structure with a huge 84’’ touchscreen.
Same software application, but in a wider format, specially adapted to an area with higher affluence of people.

And as the administration room also deserved a digital upgrade, the choice for the new company “showroom” here was DISPLAX Pad, a 47’’ iPhone-like equipment.

Performing ARENA Multitouch Platform software, directors could present images, videos, PDFs and other contents during their meetings, in a multiuser and engaging experience, that clearly aimed to position Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal as a forward-thinking company, with high-end products and disruptive processes.
