Horta is a city full of sailor spirit and maritime legends. The walls of the marina have no empty spaces, being covered with paintings made by the iatistas so that luck smiles on their journey by sea. It’s an outdoor gallery. Its location offers an excellent shelter against the winds of all directions and makes it an almost mandatory stopover for sailboats travelling from the Caribbean towards the Mediterranean.
