Interactivity
In this area of free access, there is also an LCD showing generic information like opening hours, events or ticket pricing.
There are also five interactive kiosks in the entrance area, wine tasting room, restaurant and in two exhibition spaces, so that visitors get a broader insight about each area.
Right on the ground floor, visitors (literally) get in touch with one of the highlights of this multimedia center: two multitouch tables that allow the discovery of the perfect Porto Cruz wine for each person and occasion.
To add even more entertainment to this experience, there are three different ways to find your own Porto Cruz!
If you want to focus on your personal preferences, place the tag that was given to you at the entrance onto the screen, choose a combination of sensory stimulus (flavor, aroma, moment of consumption, music), and you’ll get to know the Port wine that suits you.
If you’d rather explore each wine’s features and context, just place the bottles on the screen, and all relevant info will appear.
Or, if you want a more knowledgeable orientation, just ask one of Porto Cruz assistants to guide you through the brand’s Port wine offering, using a special tag that will trigger the display of its bottles with a 3D effect.
LCD
After this innovative introduction to the wonders of Port wine, it’s time to take this sensory experience to the next level.
Before actually savoring the “nectar of the Gods”, make sure that you don’t lose the opportunity to marvel yourself with the masterpieces of some of the most prominent Portuguese artists.
Now that your taste buds are already jumping with excitement, comes the awaited moment: the wine tasting.
And as nothing in Porto Cruz Space is done in a conventional and boring way, the wine tasting will be accompanied with an impressive multimedia presentation, displayed in a huge 55’’ interactive LCD.
By touching directly on its screen, or using a laptop, a wine expert will guide you through Douro’s history and each Port wine’s peculiarities, thus preparing you to enjoy all the splendor of these special drinks.
Website
To function as a complement and communication channel of Porto Cruz Space, EDIGMA developed a creative and appealing website.
Large banners, grid-style homepage, intuitive events agenda and excellent user experience are among its distinguishing features.
However, what really stands as its greatest landmark is My Porto Cruz experience, a quiz that allows you to discover “your” Porto Cruz wine, just like with the two interactive tables present in Porto Cruz Space.
As a result, this website constitutes a key element of the integrated online and offline marketing strategy followed by Porto Cruz.
