Multi-touch Table with Object Recognition
The OQTOPUS multitouch table now supports object recognition – one of the first of its kind to work with projected-capacitive technology. To illustrate the potential of this technology we designed a custom car configurator app that invited users to discover and compare two supercar models.
Virtual Reality Swing
To engage visitors in a playful way, we combined a swing and Oculus Rift to create a VR experience that challenged users to swing above the city of Porto has if they were hanging from the clouds.
Digital technologies allow us to tell stories in innovative ways.
Digital technologies allow us to tell stories in innovative ways. As the tools available grow more sophisticated so does our will to explore them and integrate them in our projects.
Personalized Avatar Creation using Face Recognition
Face recognition is used in various scenarios including security, natural user interfaces or mobile apps. We have been exploring the potential of these technologies in retail settings by combining them with digital signage displays.
Besides providing information relating to gender, age and facial emotions, the application developed for QSP Summit also allowed for users to create and share a personalized avatar based on their unique data.
